Dear doc
That's wonderful news and so good of you to let us share the positive stuff too. A baby at home is always fun and I hope you get your share of happiness through the little one too. Best wishes to Laksmi and Ravi.

Dear nidhana,
Sorry about the confusion on Lakshmi's ID. Most oldsters here are familiar with that name and its role in my life. I am sending you a link to a blog written two years ago...it will show you why this little girl and her family means so much to me

Dear Sir, I am very touched by your affection for Lakshmi, the baby and Ravi, ofcourse. My first thought was Lakshmi was your daughter, later I realised she is, in a way, in your heart. My best wishes to Lakshmi and Ravi and a  warm welcome to the new-comer!!

Dear ashualec,
Touched I am too, by the warmth and love that comes across oceans to cheer and move a young mother, as she discovers, along with the joys of maternity, the euphoria to be among well wishers and friends...

Dear Opulence,
This isnt new here on sulekha. Everyone responds to genuine appeals and goodwill overflows for good causes. In the last two years alone, sulekha members have sent ,through me, donations totally nearly Rs. 200,000 for worthy causes. Most veteran bloggers know me well through my personalized blogs, theyve followed my struggle and my woes, my family and its life, my dogs, my pet peeves, my everything. They share theirs with me, standing by me when I need a shoulder, or stand by me to pat my back when I've prevailed over yet another hurdle in my tortuous journey.
Lakshmi herself is quite well known among may here - in fact at least six ladies have sent her clothes, some for her some for her new baby. Thanks for the comment
regards, ixedoc

Youve made my day, supriya...it has indeed been months since anyone told me that I rock - anyway, the only rocking I'll be doing henceforth, is on a chair that moves fore and aft, lulling one into senility into somnolence
Thanks lady for your warm words
